This years festival on the Isle of Wight will
include the UKWA Open Slalom
Championships on the 28/ 29 October and
the UKWA Freewave Championships will be
held from 27 – 29th of October. The festival is
preceded by the UKSA (UK Sailing
Academy) sponsored Youth Week which is
now in its seventh year. There’s usually a
leading windsurfing star or two to give
guidance and inspiration so for young
aspiring windsurfers this is one to go for. This
year the UKSA is offering free invites. To
qualify you have to contact the UKWA
directly and tell them why you deserve an all
expenses paid trip to Youth Week 2006.
